Completed a full kitchen remodel for Mr. Boudreaux under a signed contract totaling $19,600. He paid the deposit and the first progress draw without issue. The final invoice of $8,400 was sent on completion day after he walked the job, signed the punch list, and told us in writing the work looked great. Thirty days went by with no payment. We sent two follow-up invoices and a final demand letter. He then claimed a cabinet door was misaligned, which we offered to fix at no charge within 48 hours. He refused the repair visit and stopped responding entirely. The invoice is now 75 days past due. Contract, signed punch list, photos of completed work, and all text and email correspondence are on file.
