Ms. Voss booked us to cater a 120-person corporate event with a signed contract and 50 percent deposit. The event was executed in full and the remaining $5,400 balance was paid on site by credit card. She complimented the staff and left a five-star review the same night. Eleven days later the balance charge was disputed with the issuer as canceled merchandise or services. We responded with the signed contract, event photos, staffing logs, the venue sign-off sheet, and her own public review praising the event. The dispute is still pending with the issuer. Fellow caterers should require direct ACH for balances. All evidence referenced is on file.
