Client filed a chargeback 3 weeks after approving the final files — what actually wins these?

Had a client approve a deliverable in writing, then dispute the whole charge as "unauthorized" almost a month later. I responded with the signed booking form, the approval email and delivery receipts. Curious what evidence has actually worked for you — do the issuers care more about signatures or about delivery timestamps?

Delivery timestamps plus a written approval have won every one I have fought. The signature matters less than proving they received and accepted the work. Screenshot the approval with the header visible.

Also send your rebuttal as one PDF, not five attachments. The reviewer spends about two minutes on it. First page should be a plain-English timeline.

Good point on the single PDF. I have started leading with a one-paragraph summary and it has clearly helped.
